1. Who we are

2. What personal data we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
  • Live chat (tawk.to): the messages you send, your name and email if you give them, and technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visit.
  • Blog comments: your name, email address, optional website and the comment text, plus your IP address.
  • Technical data: our hosting server records IP addresses and browser details in standard security logs.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare proposals: steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
  • To send our newsletter: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To provide live chat: our legitimate interest in answering visitors quickly, and your consent to chat cookies.
  • To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:

  • Our web hosting provider, which stores the website, form emails and backups.
  • tawk.to Inc. (United States), which provides the live chat. Transfers outside the EU rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Google, which serves the website fonts (Google Fonts); your browser connects to Google servers to load them.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and chat messages: up to 3 years after our last contact, unless they lead to a contract, in which case we keep them as required by law.
  • Newsletter address: until you unsubscribe.
  • Comments: until the comment is removed.
  • Website backups: replaced regularly and kept for no longer than needed for recovery.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the website to work, cookies set by the tawk.to chat to remember your conversation, and WordPress cookies if you leave a comment. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time in your browser settings.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@gridcreed.com. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.
